International womens day initiated by NCH was organized by Hospital staff and department of OBG on 13/3/26 from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM. Guest speaker Dr. Shreevanita Venkat. She talked about women empowerment Second session was ramp walk by students and interns dressed as women achievers. Pries were announced for the best performers.
Tuberculosis day programme was organized by Department of Community Medicine on 24/3/26.Dr Vyshnavi associate professor delivered a speech on tuberculosis
The teaching staff participated as delegates and also presented paper on evidence based management in Homoeopathy regarding the cases which they have treated and cured.

The theme for the year 2024 is “Viksith Bharath kamantra, Desh ko nashe se swantantra”. Dr Vyshnavy Baburaj, Assistant professor, Department of Community Medicine highlighted about the theme for this year and urged everyone to never try and take drugs. This was followed by a pledge which was read by Dr Vyshnavy and repeated by the teaching faculty and students. This was about a promise tonever take drugs.

The Department of Community Medicine observed National Nutrition Week on 03/09/2024 at KTG Global Public School, Hegganahalli, Bangalore from 10am to 12pm. The theme for the year 2024 is “Nutritious diets for everyone.” Two faculty of Department of Community Medicine and the students of 4 th BHMS(Jr) educated the students and teaching faculty at the school. Dr Vyshnavy, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine gave an introduction to nutrition, nutrition week and its significance. Mr Vikas, a student spoke about the theme for this year. Next, Ms Asmita, a student spoke about balanced diet and its relevance, sources and functions of carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and its functions Lastly, Ms Gayathri, a student spoke about the nutritious problems in India like anaemia, protein energy malnutrition, various vitamin deficiencies and its symptoms.
On 31 May 2024 there was a NO TOBACCO DAY awareness programme at Arunodaya Pre university college, Sunkadkatte, Bangalore from 10:30am- 1pm. The theme for the year, 2024 was “ PROTECTING CHILDREN, FROM TOBACCO INDUSTRY INTERFERENCE

On 09 September 2024, Department of Community Medicinecelebrated World First Aid Day 2024 at 3 rd BHMS classroom, Anuradha Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Bengaluru from 3:00pm- 4:00pm.The theme for the year 2024 is “First Aid and Sports”. DrNagarjun K P, a certified National level first aid trainer from Indian Red Cross Society was the speaker for today’s session. DrVyshnavy, AssistantProfessor, Department of Community Medicine welcomed the gathering and introduced the speaker. DrNagarjun started thesession focusing on the basics of first aid, different helpline numbers,current laws for first aid(Good Samaritan Law) and first aid response.
On 28 June 2024, on the occasion of World Heart Day, there was a walkathonorganized by Tathagat Heart Hospital which was flagged off from St TherasaHospital, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru. It commenced at 8:00am and ended by 11:00am. The theme for this year is” Use Heart for Action” urging individuals to prioritize their heart health while encouraging them to demand that leaders take cardiovascular health seriously. Dean of Anuradha Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Dr. A. L. Patil, 10 teaching staff and students of 2 nd BHMS, 3 RD BHMS and 4 th BHMS participated in the walkathon. The event was inaugurated by Sri SharanabasappaDarshanapur, Minister of Small scaleIndustries, Government of Karnataka. Sri Gopalaiah, MLA, Mahalakshmi Layout Assembly Constituency spoke regarding the importance of heart health. Sri Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka then flagged off the event.
